My travel style

I aim to capture the historical and cultural essence of the country I travel to. Long walking tours, theater performances and exploring small towns help me do that. One of my goals on any holiday is to stay in different types of accommodation – apartments, bungalows, hotels or anything that helps me understand the culture of a city/town/village better.

  1. Ethiopian Airlines sent me a message that a flight I was booked on was delayed, but it actually wasn't delayed. 

  2. I trained Somali immigration officers to use the right stamps while traveling in and out of the country. 

  3. I slept on the floor of an airplane.
