About
New York native. Brooklyn-based seasoned travel hacker and proud girl dad.
Home airports
JFK/LGA, or EWR if I'm feeling ambitious.
My travel style
I find that taking the path less trodden often leads to the greatest rewards. I've driven to outstanding luxury mountain top retreats in Oman and Georgia, ridden hot air balloons in Myanmar and Turkey, gone on remote scuba dives in Thailand and Mexico and ridden some amazing powder in Andorra and Japan. Think outside the box.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Admiring the opulence at Dolmabahçe palace in Istanbul.
Finding zen at the Miraval Berkshires.
Taking in some rays on Eagle Beach in Aruba.
Pontooning down the Danube in Belgrade.
Dreaming of:
Hokkaido for some epic skiing.
Tea tasting in Sri Lanka.
Diving Belize's Great Blue Hole.
The great outdoors of Lake Louise.
One thing I can't travel without...
Coffee. Find me good espresso and I'll be happy anywhere.
Two truths, one lie:
I spent 31 days backpacking across Peru.
I got regularly mistaken for a local celebrity on the streets of Reykjavík.
I once used an old boarding pass to sneak into first class – and never got caught.
