My travel style
I travel a lot, and I like to do it all – luxury, off-the-beaten-path, beach, city, budget and points. Above all, I like to learn about cultures and discover what’s unique about that location. I believe that food and its preparation tells the story of the people – their beliefs, struggle, community, climate and evolution. That’s why I take food tours, try cooking classes and visit markets wherever I go. You can taste so many layers of history in regional cuisine. I also seek out cultural music and performing arts.

One thing I can't travel without...
My kindle and pants with zippered pockets.
Two truths, one lie:
I spent three weeks in Tahiti with nothing but a 17” backpack.
I made scrambled eggs with Gordon Ramsay.
I attended Stephen Hawking’s funeral at Westminster Abbey by accident.
