My travel style

Former hostel backpacker throughout Europe, Peru, Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica. Now I prefer comfortable hotels. I love being in a central location so I can explore all the surrounding areas. I am a foodie and love to try new and exotic restaurants. I am very extroverted and love talking to locals about the top things to do in their area. I love being outdoors. I enjoy a full day of sightseeing, followed by an amazing meal and a cocktail. When I am feeling like I need a relaxing vacation, you will find me at an all-inclusive resort. I live in a very vibrant town halfway between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC that loves microbrews, mountain biking, skiing and anything boating-related. I have a passion for travel. I have done everything from group travel, traveling on a shoestring budget to high end luxury travel. Traveling is the best gift you can give yourself.

An hour south of Canucn, this mammoth adults-only resort is a true all-inclusive, with 900 rooms, nine restaurants and access to all the adventures at eight nearby activity parks.

Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa

No-frills resort in Puerto Vallarta with beachfront access, an array of pools and a gym.

Recently returned from:

  • Sightseeing and exploring the food scene in Washington DC.

  • Relaxing at the pool and beach, while enjoying excursions in Playa Del Carmen.

  • Biking around Vancouver and soaking in the city views.

  • Exploring eastern Washington wine country and enjoying live music at the Gorge.

Dreaming of:

  • Bali.

  • Greece.

  • Thailand.

  • Japan.

One thing I can't travel without...

My camera.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I jumped out of an airplane in New Zealand. 

  2. I have three kids and a St. Bernard. 

  3. I kissed Rod Stewart's hand at a concert in Melbourne.
