My travel style

Equally as comfortable in a budget hostel as I am in a luxurious five-star resort – I'm a travel chameleon. Every adventure has its own vibe and I live for finding the right accommodations to match my vision for the trip. Whether my focus is on my budget or my desired amenities, ultimately it's all about the memories. And all roads lead to a good glass of wine at the end of the night, wherever you rest your head.

  • Soaking in the surf and sun in San Diego. 

  • Roaming the cobblestone streets of Rome. 

  • Wine tasting in the new Napa of Walla Walla, WA. 

  • Driving carefully on the left side of a narrow stone street in the Irish countryside.

Dreaming of:

  • Gorilla trekking in Uganda or Rwanda. 

  • Island hopping in Greece. 

  • Penguin spotting in Antarctica. 

  • Hunting for photo-ops of the Big Five on the Serengeti.

One thing I can't travel without...

I never travel without my hydration powders – I want to be alert and energized when I arrive at my destination, so electrolytes are life.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I took my first snowboarding lesson in the Austrian Alps and was politely offered a refund when they saw my "skills". 

  2. While on a large booze cruise in Puerto Vallarta, I convinced a deckhand to let me leave early by sailing me to shore on a dinghy and walking to the nearest deserted bus stop. 

  3. A school of dolphins saved me from a tiger shark off the coast of Hawaii.
