My travel style

I love elegant and refined places and experiences at a luxury or mid-range price. I prefer the best experiences and that does not always mean the most expensive. Give me an authentic meal at a traditional chateau in Burgundy and I will be beyond blissful.

One thing I can't travel without...

Sketchbook and skincare.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I traveled to India and South America alone to design and fabricate jewelry and textiles. 

  2. I slept in Army barracks alone in both the Bahamas and Budapest. 

  3. I was almost arrested while hitchhiking over the border from Slovenia to Austria – which Hertz rental told me to do!
