Shrimp-boiling on Florida's Emerald Coast.
Wine tasting and driving through sweet, countryside towns in Dordogne, France.
Family "tripping" to the Hawaiian Islands.
Dreaming of:
The rustic José Ignacio, Uruguay for the Uruguayan countryside (olive groves!) and the Atlantic (ocean-side seafood shacks).
The Baroque towns and whitewashed walls of Puglia, Italy.
Snorkeling with turtles in the blue waters of Eleuthera, Bahamas.
Tracing my roots on a full inland and capital city Scandinavian tour of Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland for Baltic experiencing, fjords, viking/seafaring history and all the art, color, style, – aka, never leaving!
One thing I can't travel without...
My trusty, soft cashmere wrap – that, of course, doubles as an airplane blanket.
Two truths, one lie:
I took part in a yoga teacher training in Bali.
I went to France for a month a week after I got married – without my husband.
I hiked 1/10th of a mile on the Kalalau Trail and had to turn back because I am that afraid of heights.
