Things to do in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The Andaman & Nicobor Islands are one of the most untouched and undiscovered parts of India. Situated halfway between the Indian Subcontinent & Thailand, this group of islands provides untouched natural beauty. After flying into Port Blair, the most accessible island to visit is Havelock to be reached by Ferry.
With gorgeous sunsets, Havelock is a paradise for beach vacations and it is also an internationally well-known destination for Scuba Diving and PADI Certification.
I recommend Havelock over multiple locations to explore a diversity of marine life and beach and watersports. After visiting there for the first time in 2016, I have been multiple times and each time is a stunning experience.
The sea kayaking in the mangroves especially on a full moon night is an experience out of a postcard and on a night closer to the new moon a great time to see bioluminescence all around.
The island is one of the pioneers of sustainability, eco-tourism and no-plastic policies.
