About

"Learn-it-all" working toward becoming a travel entrepreneur and focusing on wellness and adventure tourism.

Home airports

LAX for most trips, BUR as a backup.

My travel style

I look for wonder in the small things, whether I am walking the streets of Montreal or gazing at the graffiti-laden walls of La Comuna 13 in the hills of Medellin, Colombia. I have made it my mission to help busy, time-starved, industrious working professionals on the verge of burnout take well-planned, transformational vacations to reclaim their health, creativity and sanity. I have cultivated a keen understanding of designing escapes that have the traveler connect with themselves, feel at peace, focused and recharged. My clients return feeling healthy, invigorated, refreshed – and ready to tackle their demanding jobs with a productive and renewed spirit.

Favorite hotels

Recently returned from:

  • Family getaway to Maui (Lahaina).

  • Urban trek in Medellin.

  • Destination wedding in Cartagena (my own).

  • Summer festival time in Montreal, Canada.

Dreaming of:

  • Tahiti with my spouse.

  • Solo trip to Barcelona.

  • Alaska cruise with my brothers.

  • Reunion with my best guy friends in Madeira, Portugal.

One thing I can't travel without...

I love to listen to music as I walk, so a good pair of headphones are an absolute must.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I took a two-hour hike with my spouse on our honeymoon through Tayrona National Park, Colombia to get to the beach at Cabo San Juan.

  2. On a winter holiday trip to Amsterdam, I met a chef from Cuba who turned out to be the owner of a popular tapas bar at the time. We clicked so well that he invited me to his after-hours New Year's Eve party for his friends and best clients. I got to spend my New Year's Eve with an eclectic crowd of people from across the world.

  3. On a tour of Gibraltar, I was mugged by a family of Barbary macaques who desperately wanted my Toblerone chocolate.
