My travel style

I backpacked through Europe for eight weeks when I graduated college – I was hooked! Now it's more about nice accommodations versus hostels, but the wanderlust is still there!

One thing I can't travel without...

Spare eyeglasses.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. While checking into our hotel in Amsterdam, we saw a guy with long curly hair and a tophat in the lobby with a blonde-haired guy and a beanie hat across the way – it was Axel Rose and Slash from Guns N' Roses!

  2. I took a pedicab ride in Havana with a guy who spoke almost no English and wound up in a bar drinking mojitos with the waiter interpreting. 

  3. I was asked to leave a small shrine in Patmos, Greece because I was wearing shorts.
