My travel style

To me, travel is all about experiencing the heart of a place. It's discovering the local secrets, the history, food and culture, both man-made creations and natural landscapes. As a hospitality designer, I seek out boutique stays and design-driven spaces that tell a story. I love curating authentic experiences and sharing them with other like-minded travelers who are looking to immerse themselves in their destination.

Numeroventi Design Residency

Housed within the historic Palazzo Galli Tassi from 1510, Numeroventi is a modern design-driven artist residence and boutique hotel located midway between Duomo and Santa Croce.

Korakia Pensione

On the edge of downtown, a mod Moroccan-Mediterranean hideaway with a tranquil courtyard, pool and San Jacinto mountain views.

Hôtel Caron de Beaumarchais Paris Marais

A romantic hideaway in a historic quarter of the Marais with boudoir style decor and toile wallpaper.

Recently returned from:

  • Living out my Francophile fantasy in Paris.

  • Exploring Lake Como by boat.

  • Hotel hopping in LA.

  • Relaxing on the black sand beaches of the Big Island.

Dreaming of:

  • Island hopping in Thailand.

  • Moorish architecture tour in Marrakech.

  • Eating and drinking my way through Mexico City.

  • Sunbathing in Mallorca.

One thing I can't travel without...

A good book, preferably one with a location set in my destination.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I fell asleep on the grass in the Gardens of Versailles.

  2. I scaled a highway on the cliffs of Sorrento in search of an ATM. 

  3. I took a train in Italy that was on time.
