My travel style

Luxury hotels, boutique hotels and unique, unexpected places to stay are all exciting for me. I am an active traveler and love to explore both with and without an itinerary, often spending every waking hour wandering around. I love visiting historical sites, art and architecture, as well as off-the-beaten-path spots. Sampling regional foods – from 5-star to street food – is a must, as is and getting to know the locals (and their favorite spots). I often hire local guides to enrich my travel experience.

One thing I can't travel without...

  1. My first solo airplane trip was at the age of four.

  2. I have a sport pilot license.

  3. I ate fried grasshopper from a street vendor in Uganda.
