My travel style

You can either find me camping in a tent off the grid with no cell service or in a five-star boutique luxury hotel. I want to see the world and tastefully emerge in culture and local life. I appreciate hotels that meet an environmentally conscious architectural build, with interior design elements sourced thoughtfully, with a culinary experience that is influenced by traditional recipes and local ingredients. My ideal vacation combines relaxation a'la a desolate white sand beach and jungle, with options for hiking or adventure. I am an experienced solo traveler, work-remote traveler, mom traveler (one son who loves to explore like me), couple traveler and besties traveler. And no matter who I am with or where I go – I really just love planning it all, love researching, love storytelling and love getting to a new destination. Travel for me is all about intentions, desires and embracing the new.

  • Philippines – island hopping and lush green vibes on hidden beaches with no plans.

One thing I can't travel without...

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I prefer to be cold over hot. 

  2. Air France lost my luggage once and ended up paying for my travels for a week in Italy. 

  3. I have had three hurricanes impact vacations while I was there.
