About

Outdoors enthusiast, postcard collector, gourmand and adventure-seeker. Find me paddle boarding, reading a travel magazine or cooking up a new recipe with my husband and pup!

My travel style

A self-described "knowmad" (in-the-know nomad), I see travel — at its best — as a vehicle for education, cultural immersion and social change. I love to seek out local markets everywhere I go and have a particular interest in local gastronomy, artisan crafts and wellness rituals across cultures. I'm always researching, seeking and scouting memorable experiences to create meaningful global connections and transformative journeys. Let's pioneer your next trip together!

Favorite hotels

Recently returned from:

  • Motoring around the Stockholm Archipelago in search of uninhabited sandy beaches and rocky inlets.

  • Chasing waterfalls (and the midnight sun) in Iceland.

  • Bungee-jumping, shark cage diving and mountain climbing on the Garden Route in South Africa.

  • Discovering artisans and the most delicious coconut pancakes at the night market in Luang Prabang.

Dreaming of:

  • Whale shark diving in Mozambique and making my Planet Earth dreams a reality.

  • Soaking in the beauty of Japanese culture with visits to historic temples, zen meditation sessions and omakase.

  • Pulling an all-nighter while watching the northern lights in Lapland, Finland.

  • Road-tripping around Tasmania for a low-key, off-grid adventure.

One thing I can't travel without...

My vinyl Birkenstocks – the most versatile accessory for parading beaches, wandering aimlessly, and wining and dining fashionably.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I'm enrolled in an online language course to relearn Italian (I'm a bit rusty from my study abroad days in Florence).

  2. My first backcountry camping experience entailed seven nights in Gates of the Arctic National Park in Alaska. We fell asleep each night to the sound of caribou and a million mosquitoes.

  3. I have a goal to travel to two to three new countries every year.
