Things to do in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Carmel
When visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea, start off your trip by walking and exploring downtown Carmel. It has a charming, village-like atmosphere quite pleasing to be around. Looking for something more adventurous? Hike Point Lobos for dramatic California coastal views. If you’re looking for some vino, head out to wine tasting at Cowgirl Winery. Finally, spend the day at Refugee Spa to unwind from all the activities and give your mind, body and soul a break.
Pebble Beach
Take a trip down the 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach to enjoy the swoon-worthy views of the Pacific. Pack a picnic with you that you can enjoy at one of the lookout points. To follow, grab a drink in Spanish Bay at sunset while watching the bagpiper play.
In the Region
When you’re visiting the region, it would be a pity not to take a drive out to the coast to Big Sur and its astonishing views. You can also make a pit-stop at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and even go golfing at various golf courses.
