My travel style
I travel to grow. As an entrepreneur, I'll go to spaces surrounded by nature to be my most creative self. I find joy in knowing that one bite of food can change the way my brain sees everything. And, there is nothing like storytime and Mezcal with the new friends I meet along the way.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Sleeping on the land of the oldest cactus in Mexico – 470 years old, el abuelo.
Foraging for mushrooms in San Mateo Rio Hondo.
Glamping on a coffee plantation in Pluma Hidalgo surrounded by waterfalls, during their first harvest since 1994 (when a hurricane had destroyed the land).
Having the #1 ranked breakfast in the world with Dona Esthela in the Valle de Guadalupe wine country of the Baja.
Dreaming of:
Bali, specifically to learn about the circular economy – such as, Potato Head Bali.
Cambodia.
Portugal, the Azores, and Menorca, and bouncing over to Tunisia and Türkiye while I'm there.
Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
One thing I can't travel without...
A smile.
Two truths, one lie:
My wife and I eloped in the South of France at a chateau built by Napoleon.
I've been lost in the Sierra Sur, only to find a Shaman that would be my guide out.
I discovered a cenote outside of Merida, leading archaeologist's to find markings relating the Maya to Atlantis.
