About

Philippines born, L.A. raised, OG digital nomad living and working remotely wherever there's wifi. Loves exploring unanchored, adventures in far-flung places, well-manicured boutique hotels and my dog.

Home airports

LAX – home to the iconic Theme Building, the first terminal of the Jet Age!

My travel style

My preferred travel style is extending trips, which allows me to truly take the time to explore and immerse myself in a fantastic destination – experiencing a little bit of everything rather than be pressured by timing and trying to cram it all in. I also love traveling solo and do it often. You always meet people along the way (probably more by being solo) and never have to debate about where to eat or where to go. In terms of stays and experiences, I lean towards luxury meets adventure in remote, unspoiled locations under the tourist radar. Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer, and as an unaccompanied female traveler going the distance I am cashing in and hope the same for each of you.

Favorite hotels

Recently returned from:

  • Two-week trip to Oaxaca turned three-month stay exploring Oaxaca, Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende and ending in Cabo with my French Bulldog and fellow travel lover, Butters @buttersintl.

  • Swimming with and possibly stalking penguins in arctic freezing waters in Cape Town.

  • Driving on a solo road trip across the Namibian Desert to Sossuvlei and the Skeleton Coast and living to tell the tale.

  • Dove for uni while island hopping in stunning El Nido, Palawan.

Dreaming of:

  • Tunisia.

  • Antarctica.

  • Wadi Rum.

  • Faroe Islands.

One thing I can't travel without...

A fully charged battery pack for those clutch moments. Also three meters of painter's tape in blue (more practical than one would think).

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I fractured my ribs in Ibiza, sober.

  2. I once got a ride to DPS airport in Bali with a stranger I thought was my Uber driver.

  3. I never got stuck in Santiago de Cuba.
