About
A traveler obsessed with going to increasingly remote locations. Based in Orange County, CA. An engineer in the daytime, and a fur-mom to a (sweet but psycho) rescue dog.
Home airports
SNA for domestic, LAX for international.
My travel style
I love a mix of everything to really experience a destination – although who can say no to a unique luxury hotel? My ideal adventure has a mix of luxury and boutique, nature and city, and remote and well-established. I get the feel for a culture through food, whether that be food tours, cooking classes, gourmet restaurants, market visits or street food. Once I fall in love with the idea of a country, I can't stop obsessing until I visit it! I always research my destinations (and yours) extensively to make sure I'm not missing out on anything unique.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Exploring Tanzania and Kenya’s safaris, beaches, and giraffes.
Trying every cuisine possible in Dubai.
Visiting the Taj Mahal and going on a street food tour in India.
Hanging out at a ball pit bar, going to afternoon tea and participating in a Harry Potter cocktail class in London.
Dreaming of:
Kachi Lodge in the Bolivian Salt Flats.
Seeing wild elephants in Thailand.
Seeing the Northern Lights in the Swedish Lapland.
Hanging out with penguins and seeing glaciers in Antarctica.
One thing I can't travel without...
A travel-sized white noise machine.
Two truths, one lie:
I tore my meniscus in France.
I once got caught in a freak wave in Fiji.
I've been kicked out of a onsen in Japan.
