My travel style
Every place has its own story to tell and I'm ready to listen. I love to immerse myself once I reach my final destination. First thing I do is go for a nice long walk to familiarize myself and breathe in the energy as I look around me and watch the locals as they go on about their day. Taking in its history, people, culture, architecture, stunning views, the scent, local food and wine and so much more! Seeing the beauty that surrounds me fills me up with joy. I will get my camera out and capture what I love and what inspires me. Giving my clients that same feel of joie de vivre is my passion.

Road-tripping through South Colorado, hiking the ancient ruins of Mesa Verde and driving the scary Million Dollar Highway on the way to Ouray and Telluride.
Climbing the boulders and hiking in Joshua Tree on a girl’s weekend getaway.
Exploring The Wave in Arizona – after submitting for a permit, I hiked it almost a year later!

Antarctica to see wild penguins.
Seeing the beautiful architecture of Morocco and riding a camel in the Sahara.
Cartagena – well actually everything in Colombia!
Visiting my mother’s homeland of Indonesia.
One thing I can't travel without...

Two truths, one lie:
I traveled with the Dutch football team Ajax from Amsterdam to Tokyo for the World Cup in 1995 – and we won!
I have slept in a tent 14,000 feet above sea level while hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
I have taken the Orient Express.
