My travel style

I have lived in three continents and been lucky to have incredible and diverse travel experiences – from solo travel to organizing a 10 person road trip, from staying at the top luxury safari lodges to camping in national parks, from walking the biggest cities to spending quiet time in remote places. I will go anywhere for good food and I am obsessed with travel research and soliciting recommendations from the people who know each destination best. I love to learn about wherever I am and you can always find me peppering a guide or local expert with rapid-fire questions.

  • Sipping wine in the terraced vineyards over the Mosel River in Germany’s Riesling region.

Dreaming of:

  • Eating my way through Japan. 

  • Road-tripping through New Zealand. 

  • Exploring (and shopping) in Morocco.

One thing I can't travel without...

Sunglasses and ear plugs.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I ate piranha in Lima, Peru – and liked it! 

  2. I drove a motorbike around Bagan – the ancient capital of Myanmar. 

  3. I found an elephant drinking from my plunge pool at a lodge in Samburu in Northern Kenya.
