My travel style

A global traveler with a taste for quiet poolside naps balanced by museum visits, cooking classes and boat excursions. I value an easy day relaxing and reading in a tranquil space as much as a day with a private guide visiting a private museum. I love to get lost in small towns and wander to discover special boutiques and eateries. No plans – "il dolce far niente" (the sweetness of doing nothing). No matter what, my day always starts with a fantastic breakfast spread!

One thing I can't travel without...

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I've hiked Mt. Olympus in July – only to be surprised by a flash hail storm. 

  2. I've slept 15 hours straight in the most comfortable bed in Newport Coast (Pelican Hill Resort). 

  3. I've traveled for three weeks with only a carry-on.
