Experience Baja’s natural beauty
Whale watching season in Los Cabos is incredible. It’s surreal how such large creatures are so effortlessly graceful. Mother whales love the saltiness of the water in Los Cabos because of its buoyancy – it helps the whale calves learn how to swim. The whales come to shallow waters to be protected from predators. Go on a whale watching tour led by marine biologists with Whale Watch Cabo. On the whale watching tour, you’ll boat by the famous arch.
Hit the sand out in no man’s land – it’s just nature out there – and go sandboarding or sand sledding. Your guide will give you a crash course on proper technique and you’ll be going down a baby bunny-like hill. You have a view of the bay and we even spotted whales from the top of the dune before boarding down.
Chase waterfalls in Santiago, Baja California. Getting to this gorgeous waterfall isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. It helps to have a guide show you the way as you have to hike down to the waterfall and you can swim in the natural cold fresh-water springs.
Ride horses on the beach at sunset. It’s a beautiful way to see the beach and connect with nature.
