My travel style

Epic views and adventure in unsuspecting places. There's nothing I love more than turning off the GPS and getting a little bit lost to find the hidden gems off-the-beaten-path. Whether camping under the stars with no one around for miles or finding myself in a hotel experience unlike any other, I'm a firm believer in that there are hidden gems everywhere you look if you let your adventurous spirit take hold.

Recently returned from:

  • Getting reacquainted with my hometown of Sarasota, FL.

  • Camping in Ocala National Forest.

  • Swimming in one of Florida's natural springs.

  • Shopping in Disney Springs.

Dreaming of:

  • Every National Park in the USA (preferably via road trip).

  • Israel for the history of Jerusalem and obviously to swim in the Dead Sea.

  • The Highlands of Scotland because I read in a book once that there's nothing like a Highland sunset and I'm determined to see it for myself.

  • Salem, MA to see the Hocus Pocus house and much, much more.

One thing I can't travel without...

A sufficient supply of snacks.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I was stopped at the border into Canada once for three hours because I annoyed a Border Services Officer.

  2. While living in Alaska, I met the woman who bred the husky named Demon in the movie Snow Dogs with Cuba Gooding Jr.

  3. I refuse to ride It's a Small World at Disney World for fear of getting the song stuck in my head.
