Visit Les Baux in the heart of Alpilles, which is known as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Make sure to book tickets early to Van Gogh | Carrières des Lumières that captures the soul of Van Goh with immersive art.

Sunday morning at the L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market, the largest outdoor market in Luberon. The town stretches across the Sorgue River and is known as “Venice of Provence” featuring many riverside cafes and antique shops.

Check out Gordes in Vaulcluse overlooking the Luberon region. Wander the streets or stop in the few shops and cafes or purchase cheese, wine or other provencial souveniers.

Art and history lovers will enjoy Arles, a city on the Rhône River famed for inspiring Van Gogh and the contemporary art displayed at the Fondation Vincent Van Goghand Luma Tower designed by Frank Gehry. There is even a First Century Roman Ampitheater that is stilll used today for concerts and events.

Aix en Provence is brimming with adorable shops, cafes and markets. Enjoy the day getting lost within the car and bike free streets. Parc Jourdan is just outside of the historic center and is a great spot for a picnic when you have had enough of the crowds.

Take a day trips to St Tropez or Cassis.

Hôtel et Restaurant de Tourrel: My favorite restaurant! Michelin-starred with a tasting Menu in an intimate room with incredible service and a creative menu. They also offer a more casual rooftop tasting menu - the view is incredible.

Le Beau Bar: Ice cream with flavors like rose and pamplemousse and casual food with tables in the square.

Gordes L’Orangerie: Restaurant overlooking the Luberon valley. Service is fantastic and the setting is formal. The staff wear uniforms appropriate for the time period the hotel was built. The view cannot be beat.

Dinner at L’Arlatan at the L’Arlatan hotel a work of art in itself by Jorge Prada is a must. The space is a feast for the eyes and the menu is creative.
