About
Always dreaming about my next adventure. I love exploring new cultures, art collections of all periods, experiences I can’t find at home and a good walled garden. But my dream job is Stay at Home Dog.

AUS is where all the cool kids fly and check bags like it too.
My travel style
Travel is an opportunity to be someone else, somewhere else. It’s almost like the ideal Halloween costume but for your life. I feel that travel is best done when it has been tailored to the person or people setting out on an adventure. Travel is an adventure. My personal style is to pack into each day as much as possible. I can rest for free in Austin! Some friends prefer to just explore with no plan. In these cases, I research a destination and provide an itinerary full of places worth investigating, if you’re in the right place at the right time. Others just want to go somewhere and let a hotel or resort do all the thinking. Let me know your preferences before you leave and the next thing you have to think about is why you didn’t book one more day! Travel has been such an important part of my life. It ignites my curiosity, it gets me out of my comfort zone, it fills my mind with wonder and beauty, it transforms. I want to be part of helping travel be all these things for you.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Recharging for my birthday week in Dijon and Paris.
Escaping to Southern Africa for time with nature, wild things and the Cape Town Philharmonic.
Taking some quiet time in Normandy all to myself.
Spending a thoughtful afternoon with Jean de Dinteville and Georges de Selve (aka Holbein’s “The Ambassadors”) at the National Gallery London.
Dreaming of:
Walk the Kumano Kodak in Japan.
Chill with the giraffes at Giraffe Manor.
Pretend I’m a Porteña in Buenos Aires.
Explore every inch of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
One thing I can't travel without...
Folgers coffee singles (don’t judge)!
Two truths, one lie:
At age 13, I visited my 50th state in the US.
When I went to Russia, I didn’t tell my husband until I was on the train.
I was in London during the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death and saw Princes William and Harry outside Kensington Palace looking at the public memorials.
