Curator’s statement
I grew up stopping in Nashville, Tennessee on road trips with my mom and sister. I always loved the combination of food and music in a town that really delivers on Southern hospitality. Now, it's so fun to go back and see how the city has grown, try new restaurants and experience the nightlife. It's a magical place — even people who don't like country music, for some reason, still feel a little at home in Nashville.

Things to do in Nashville, Tennessee
Enjoy the Country Music
When in Nashville, the rhythm of your visit is based on country music. The Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry are a must for music lovers! They are great spots to learn about the history of country music in the town where it originates and enjoy an excellent show or two. Once you’re done with the institutions, enjoy the local bars and honky tonks for more country music fun.
See a Show at Bluebird
The Bluebird Cafe is an iconic Nashville club featuring up-and-coming and experienced songwriters. Tour the venue and stick around for a show because you may just experience how a star is born.
Shopping
Nashville is also great for local shopping featuring fun southern attire like cowboy boots and more. Head out to The Gulch neighborhood and enjoy the urban shopping scene. The 12 South street is an excellent spot for some shopping as well. Check out Kristin Cavallari's jewelry store Uncommon James and Reese Witherspoon's clothing store Draper James.
Broadway and Music Row
Hit the bars on Broadway to listen to live music. It is an excellent chance to experience the music scene firsthand. You can also take a tour of Music Row to see the different recording studios.
