Thailand travel tips

Thailand checks all the boxes for an unforgettable vacation: scrumptious street eats, beautiful beaches, awe-inspiring temples and idyllic islands. Oh, and did we mention that Thailand travel is also some of the most budget-friendly? Check! If that sounds too good to be true, you’ll just have to see for yourself – so let’s start planning your Thailand vacation! Thailand has so many great spots to visit, including Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, the Phi Phi Islands and Chiang Mai. A Thailand tour could include eating your way through Bangkok’s night markets; partying on the beach in Phuket; scuba diving around the Phi Phi Islands; exploring the lush natural beauty of Koh Samui and visiting the elephants in Chiang Mai.

A Thailand honeymoon can be as budget-friendly or as luxurious as you want. Your Fora advisor, aka the best travel advisor for Thailand honeymoons, can put together the most relaxing or adventurous honeymoon, depending on your travel style. For example, if you enjoy the duality of city life and nature, the best places would be Bangkok and Chiang Mai. If you want the quintessential beach honeymoon, you can start your Thailand honeymoon in Phuket and go island hopping from there.

November through April are by far the best months to travel to Thailand. The hot rainy season gives way to cool air and cooler temps, perfect for enjoying the country’s beautiful beaches, island hopping and exploring ancient wonders. Naturally, this is also when Thailand tourism is at its peak, so expect higher flight and hotel prices. If you’re willing to roll the dice a bit, you might consider Thailand travel in October, at the tail-end of the rainy season. You might just get lucky and experience a stretch of sunny weather and fewer crowds.

Your Fora advisor can alert you to Thailand’s specific entry and exit requirements and you can also check out official government websites for more information. Currently, in order to travel to Thailand from the US and other countries, a certificate of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure is required for entry.
